Mothers Visitor Visa Surname Problem

Dear Friends,

I am facing one problem and need your suggestion.

I want to call my Mom here in USA.

The Issue is:

My Mom was a Government Employee and she got Government Job before marriage.
Now she is retired.
Her Surname is in Passport is Different (Before Marriage Surname i.e. Chopra)
But my surname is “Mehta”.
My question is Does Consulate will create the problem to issue the visa?
She does not have Marriage certificate too but she is having her marriage invitation card and marriage photographs.
She is even having two UK visas in her current passport.

Kindly suggest what to do to get the visa?
Even I am not sure that the consulate will create the problem or not.
Just need Advise before proceed.
