Question:Documents submited at mumbai VFS

I am sponsering my paertns to come here in USA. When my father went to Mumbai visa application center to get intervew date, that center only took DS-156 form, photo & paretn's passport copies only. they did NOT take any suppoerting documents like I-134, my visa copy, I797, etc... IS THIS OK? I am worried here.

I thought supporting documents needs to be submitted at least visa/I-134.
