Dear Sir/Madam,
My husband is a US citizen who was born in the US to British parents. Although he is a US citizen, he has lived most of his life in the UK.
We have been discussing recently moving out to the US with our children, who are 18 and 16 years old. However, we are confused around the I-864 Affadavit of Support issue, i.e. although my husband currently has a good job in the UK, he will be looking to seek new employment in the US and therefore the I-864 form is going to reflect this.
Can you please advise if we are likely to be refused on this basis?
