Background:
My parents got rejected twice when they tried to get visitor visa in march 09 and may 09 . The purpose of the trip was my elder brother's graduation. The reason for rejection was potential immigrants ! (214g)
Questions:
Q1) My father is 58 years old and mother is 54 years old? Are they supposed to fill DS 157 form ?(I read the instructions on immihelp.com/visitor but was still unclear.)
Q2) Now, they are planning to apply for visitor visa for my wedding which is last week of Nov 09 and my graduation which is in Dec. What should, they write in "Purpose of Trip" in DS 156 ? (I am currently on F1 visa and am OPT from 08/09. I am verbal offer for full time from Jan 2010 but no written proof for further employment. My finance is an US citizen)
Q3) They are planning to sponsor themselves. Is that a problem ?
Does that make a difference ?
Q4) Since , both, me and my elder brother are in US, how do we show social ties in India ?
I appreciate your time and concern for answering the questions. Thank you very much !
