Do we need to disclos the ticket during the visa?

Hi,
My parents are going for the visa this week. Due to the unavailability of the tickets, we have been recommended to buy the tickets. We did buy the ticket and is open for 6months. On worst case, we could cancel it with some penalty.

The question is: Is it a good idea for my Parents to show the ticket at the time of interview? Will it improve the chance of getting the visa? Appreciate your response.
