Parents visa rejected

Hi,

My parents went for visa interview on May 11th. They were asked questions like

1. Why are you visiting usa?
2. What is your son-in-law's name?
3. Does he have green card?
4. How many children do you have?
5. Where are they?

My father said that they were coming here for seeing places and see their daughter and son-in-law. My husband's name is Prabhu. He doesn't have green card. (We are on Adjustment of status) They have four children. Eldest daughter in Bahrain, Second daughter in Fujairah, Dubai and son is in Bahrain.

Immediately they said that their visa can't be processed. My father asked for the reason and they said the reason is mentioned in the paper. 214(b). Not convinced that they will return to India.

We are thinking of reapplying after two weeks. How should we approach the case. My parents had documents of their financial status and also that they are taking care of my father's single brother and single sister who are very old. But they did not get a chance to show these documents.

Please help.

Parents visiting USA

My Parents got thier visa last week from chennai consulate. Me and my brothers stay in the usa. I am 485 pending applicant.

Make sure, ur parents mention that they are spending for thier tickets and they need a visa for only 3 months and wud return to India.

Should they just mention about buying the tickets during the interview or should the sponsor change

Either sponsor or visitor can purchase tickets. Nothing in particular is required. It is OK as long as either of the persons have money to buy them.
