Wife is sponsoring me for GC, can she also Sponsor my Parents for Visitor Visa?

My wife applied my GC, and also she submit I 864 as she is sponsoring me for GC. We are getting married as per Indian wedding ceremony in US in next summer, Can She sponsor my Parents for Visitor visa as they want to attend my wedding ceremony?

I heard that when She sponsor me for GC than she can not sponsor anybody else for one year, is it true?

She is Auditor in Ernst & Young , she is financially sound.

Please guide me in this matter.

I am currently in US on student visa doing my PHD. I got married in first week of NOV 09. I came on student Visa in Aug 2006. I completed my MBA in 2008 and Got H1b in 2008. Moved to F1 status In 2009 and started my PHD w/o leaving country.
