Probably the ideal place to post this would be "experiences", let me keep this short, hope people benefit from it. Let me just concentrate on must haves --

Please : if you are mailing documents over to your relatives, please do them well in advance, the agony of waiting till the last minute is really not worth it. Give it at least 2 full weeks even if doing EMS from U.S.A (my own experience).

    a) Documents:

invitation letter - please donot ignore this ! quite a few have neglected this, unfortunately this is sometimes the first document that this asked for.

    Other questions:

    a) who is in U.S
when was she last year - exact month, this will be cross checked with passport entries.

    b) How many children.

    --

    To Parents:

What are you doing now, if retired - what was previous job, what is pension amount, - maybe a good idea to have pension book.

    - Best of luck - I plan to be visiting the forum for some more time now, I will try to post replies .

    Regards
