plz help

hi,

i went to hyderabad US consulate after interviewing VO returned my all document & retained my passport and issued me a 221g blue form and advice me that i will received my passport withing 7 days by courier but todays is 10th day but i havent received any courier and status is still pending. so can you please tell me why they issue 221g form & what is it..?

Just by looking at the form and what is checked, it does not seem to give any further information.

Therefore, the best thing I can suggest that you wait to hear from them.

well it has been total 30 days now but didnt get any response from them yet so far. when i check my status online on december 29, 2009 the information is not available and i could not find my number on the website, please tell me what does it mean why my 221g number is not available online.

It is really difficult to predict the timeline. The delay most likely could be because of the holidays.

Now that they are over from tomorrow onwards, you could expect for things to get normal again.
