Hello,
I have a question about the uncollected form I-94. My mother have visited me in the U.S. almost 2 years ago, but when she was leaving the United States, she didn't know she had to turn in the form I-94. My question is: Now when she will send her form and original boarding pass she used to depart the U.S. and other evidence, can she send a registered letter to CBP? I have experience when the letters got lost, especially from outside the U.S. and my mother wants to be sure that it will get to its destination. Or can my mother first send everything to me to the U.S. and then I will send it to CBP?
I also have a question, if my mother is supposed to wait for any response from CBP, or how can she check her status? She would like to visit me during the coming Holidays (Christmas) this year, and she found out about the requirements of the returning the form only last week.
Thank you very much for your time.
