apply visiting visa from third country and change the status to h1b visa..

my name is vivek reddy. i am the citizen of india.. but currently working in dr congo.. i want to apply visiting visa to usa and change my status from visiting visa to h1b visa...

pls suggest me.. can i get my h1b visa or not....

You can't really do that.

Anyway, the H1B quota for the next year is over now. Earliest you can apply now is April 1, 2010 to start working from October 1, 2010.
