CAN SOMEONE pls help, advice abt expiring petition and B2 interview..URGENT !

Hi,
My L1 & I-94 is expiring in May 2010. I have a scheduled interview for my parents tommorrow. I have applied for my extension but dont have the receipt for extension yet.
I wanted to know
- whether my parents B2 will get rejected?
- will they get visa only till May or they can also get for 10 years with multiple entries?
- should my parents inform the VO that I have applied for extension without him asking?
- is there anything that they need to inform VO?
- if they get visa for 2-4 months then does that mean they have to return before May 2010 as my I-94 also mentions the same date?
