Translators availability

I read in this site (somebody has shared his experience) that translators are not available on Mondays and Fridays at the Chennai Consulate. Is that true?
When I first booked the appointment online through ttsvisas.com, it first asks us the language preference, then goes to personal details and only at last to the calendar with dates. If regional language translators are not available on mondays and fridays, how come it shows mondays and fridays as available options? I have taken an appointment for my mother on November 8, Monday and asked for a Tamil translator.
What do I do if they don't have a translator on that day?
Somebody, kindly help me.

It is NOT true. Someone is making it up.

As long as you see the appointment slot on ttsvisas site for a given day with translator, translator will be made available.

And we have confirmed that with official sources in US consulate in Chennai.
