Passport returned - to apply for new passport

Hi

I had my parents visitor visa appointment last week. They were both granted visa and their passports came in 3 days later.
My father got it for 10 yrs but my mother's passport had a little laminate peeled off on front page hence they send a letter with it saying to submit a new passport. They havent mentioned anything about rejection or anything.

Does anyone know what is the process after getting a new passport to get visa on passport.
How long does it take? Do you need to take another visa appointment for this ?

I am guessing that she was granted visa.

Submit new passport as suggested by them and everything would be fine.

We did submit the new passport last monday 15th march but we still havent received it. VFS told that they themselves havent yet received it.
