  • moms visa rejected twice

I read the following in ''the immihelp ''and I would like to know how to go about it.what is the procedure and what should we send them.Has anyone tried it.

    ''
Applicants who have been refused a visa under Section 214(b) are permitted to appeal the decision via their review procedure. If you have been interviewed by a Consular Officer within the last year, you may not contest the denial in person at the Consulate. You may, however, apply for a review of your case by mail. Please indicate your previous refusals, with the dates, if you still remember them. A Consular Officer will adjudicate the application based primarily on documentary evidence of a significant change in your personal circumstances since the time of your last visa interview and inform you of the decision.'''

        reason

the reason was 214b I really dont understand on what basis they reject .We have submitted all the proof of her going back.even our visa is getting expired in 9months and we even have sent a congressman letter verifying this.
Many say its could be bcoz shes a widow.

I want to ask immihelp what to do next. What should I send by mail to the consulate .Any help wil be of help.
We r really upset with the whole system.

i was just thinking of sending the senator's letter, i mean planning to request the senator.you already have done this. i lost my hope again.my mother in law is coming alone, because my father in law can not leave the business for long.do you think if she goes second time with senator's intervention, and along with her husband ,she will get it?

also, the ttsvisa appoinment wait time is 3 months.is there any other way to get early appoint ment?if it need to be mailed, what is the procedure.

            Hi SkVoona,
My father visa is also rejected in Sep 23,2004. I got the visa appointment on dec 9th, 2004.

In the second time did you resend each and every document or just reused from the first time appointment.

            Thank you in advance...Please advise.

              vamsi,

based on what I read here, we do not have to resend the documents. previous ones are fine. All that you can change are the current pay stubs and bank statements. But everyone says we do not need to resend.

BTW, how did you get dec 9th appointment on Sep23rd? its onlya month difference approx?
