Hi Everyone,
I would like to have your advice on Mom B1/B2 visa which is under 221 G Admin process:
My mom and dad had a 10 yr multiple entry visa which expired in Jan 2019, I went ahead and sent both of the case on Drop Box as they qualify for the Drop Box.
My father received his VISA stamped passport for another 10 yr on the 4th day but my Mom received her passport back with No Visa instead a letter stating " You need to appear for a finger print and interview at US embassy"
She went to the US embassy for the interview and finger printing on very next day, and officer kept her passport and advise that you'll receive an email with some additional documentation required to process your case.
The email received for US state that you would need to send the DS5535 form filled, we sent the filled form on the same day.
It has bee more than 2 month the status at CEAC is still shows under admin proccess.
Any expert suggestion here, what would be additional can be done to get the decision sooner.
Country of Citizenship : India
Thanks a lot.
