Letter 10 Year Multiple Entry

Hi,

My parents are going for their visa soon. They have been in US once. At that time they were given 6 months visa, but they stayed for 2 1/2 months.
Is there any specific document they have to supply if they want to request a 10 year multiple entry visa?
