About lastname to fill DS-160 Form online

Hi

I appling usa vistor visa of my parents but there is some problem in its name they have only Given name and Surname column is leave blank (No Surname in mentioned in passport ). So plz help me what would i fill in lastname column. plz reply me.

The links mentioned above will give you the appropriate answer. My mother's surname column was also blank. You have to write the given name in the Last name column and in the first name column write FNU ( first name unknown)

about filling the last name in DS 160

My father has Surname Blank and only a given name in his passport. In spouse information, my mother's given name is mentioned only and not the last name

So, while filling DS160 for my father, i filled FNU in given name and his name in Surname field

However, I am not sure how to fill my mother's details in "Travel Companion" section. What should i fill in surname and first name for the travel companion ?(when only first name is mentioned for my mother in my father's passport).

Doesn't she have passport and visa?
If so, use that name.

Why are you worried about her name in your father's passport, when she herself has a passport and visa for traveling?
