Urgent help needed-visitor visa overstay!
Hello!
My mother came to visit me on visitor visa.
She is permited to stay in USA till March-12, 2010.
On March-3 she lost her passport on the way to the airport trying to depart the US. So she wasn't able to depart without passport and lost her air ticket too.
She applied for a new passport in her Consulate, they say they need time to prepare the document for departure, which will be long after the date of her legal stay in the USA.
Please, advice! What we can do for her. She doesn't want to become illegal !!!!!!!!! And I want to see her back here in future!
