Vistors visa for Parents-in-law- please help

My wife and I are green card holders. I am looking to sponsor my parents-in-law but my wife does not have a birth certificate. She does however have the Non-availability certificate and the affidavits which we got while applying for the green card. Would those suffice or do you recommend any other action?
