Related to B2 visa itenary and insurance

I'm planning to bring my in-laws to US. I've a question related to their Itenary and Medical Insurance.

Do we need to show an Itenary and Medical Insurance details prior to thier Visa Appointment?
If so, a quatation for travel itenary and insurance would work. Please clarify
