B2 Appointment Wait Times At Mumbai

Hello,

I am green-card holder in US sponsoring visitor visa for my mother.

I check the appointment wait times at US State Department website (http://travel.state.gov/visa/tempvisitors_wait.php) and it shows that for Mumbai consulate the visa wait time is 11 days only. However, I have been trying to get appointment online at VFS website (http://www.visa-services.com) but I can only get appointment about 60 days later (in end of January).

Is there something wrong? Are there ways to get a sooner appointment? 60 days is too long a wait and I would like my mother to visit sooner.

Hope people can clarify. Please kindly post the wait times you are experiencing now.

First, please do NOT post everything in red color.

Next, you have to rely on whatever appointments you are getting on VFS website. No matter what timings are shown on Dept. of State site, finally you have to get appointment from VFS to get visa.
