Hi , i have applied for B1 B2 visa my company is sending me for a conference wch is exactly after 1 month from now , my travel order tickets everything’s is ready n my interview also went good and interviewer told me u can collect your passport along with your visa after 3 days, I was so happy , but once I checked my email I got email from embassy saying thy need more information to get my US visa and thy sent supplementary qutionary for to fill it up n send them back I think now it’s in administrative process , how long it might take ? If it will take more then a month I want to send my work mate for conference he already has visa I am confused now, can any help me with suggestions

No one can tell, on how long they will take to make a decision on this. I've seen people got it resolved within couple of days & few are waiting for more than 10 months.

Its better to keep a backup plan ready.
