consulate interview for visa in Tamil

Hi,

Has anyone attended or your parents attended US visa interview at the Chennai consulate in Tamil ?

If so, will there be Tamilians interviewing or will it be like translator ?
what kind of questions would they ask ? If applying for interview in Tamil will have any impact towards getting visa easily?

1. Obviously, a lot of them have done that.

2. Indian officer will not interview. Either the Indian staff will act as a translator to American consular officer or in some cases, American consular officer knows Tamil and he/she can directly ask in Tamil.

3. The questions are not any different, irrespective of whether asked in Tamil or English.
