Apply for b1 during my i824 process

im in a i824 process application received 8 month ago and still no updates I want to know how or if I want to withdraw or cancel or convert it to a b1/2 visa since I don’t have any plans to move and live in us so I don’t really need a green card, all I want is to com visit my parents once or twice a year
please asking for advise what are my best options

If you have shown an immigrant intent even once, then B2 visa is not for you.

You can still apply (result won't have any impact on your future plans) & try to convince VO that you won't stay with your USC parents for long time, by visiting them on B2 visa.
