  • Misrepresentation of Marital Status

    Hello fellow forum members,
Is it considered Misrepresentation if the applicant mentions "SINGLE" whereas in real the applicant just got "DIVORCED" one year prior to the B1/B2 Tourist Visa ???
    Please help.

No Since you applied one year prior then no issues

Issues only if Any applicant who lies, uses false documents or otherwise engages in behavior that falls within the provisions of immigration fraud and misrepresentation often seals his/her own fate, losing the chance of any future U.S. immigration options, whether short or long term.
