  • Wrong Given Name in US Visa

    Hi Immihelp,

I am from the Philippines, residence in Thailand.
I received my visa last week and i noticed that the given name in my visa is my complete name and they also fill in the surname with my surname..

in my passport (sample name only)
    surname: santos
    given name: joana marie
    middle name: santos
(my surname and middle name is the same)

    in my visa
    surname: santos
    given name: joana marie santos

I already sent an email to [email protected] and has not received a response from them yet. But i just want to know if this is okay, if not, how is the process of correcting my visa information?

I am just a bit worried as next week will be almost full week holiday here in Thailand and the week after that I will be flying in the Philippines, go back here in Thailand and after a week, be flying in US... Im not sure if there will still be enough time to correct my visa if i dont get a response early this week.

    Thanks in advance.
