Blue slip asking for Fingerprints once again

My mothers visa has come back with Blue slip yet again. this time, they have asked her to go to US consulate for Fingerprint collection.
I was also going to chennai for my L1b interview.
would there be another interview for my Mother?
I wanted to know if I take my mom along for the fingerprinting, would there be a chance they reconsider my mom's or My visa, considering that I may also be flying to US. The address on the passport will be the same for both of us.
Appreciate your help in this.
