step by step thing at US consulate chennai

My mom is going for B2 Visa in may at chennai consulate. She is 69 years. I would like to know what are the step by step things that she needs to do there ? she doen't know Tamil or English. Will there be people there to direct her ? what all thing she can expect there ?

can somebody pass some info ?
