Need to know chances of getting b1/b2 visa approval for USA.

Profile is as below
1. Husband and wife both working
2. Both are post graduate
3. Total income 2 lac per month
4. Father mother of boy have US visa and have made one visit to USA for 3 months
5. Boys elder sister is in USA on H1B visa
6. Purpose of visit is to meet sister and see USA.
7. Travel history for boy - Thailand Indonesia and Singapore
8. Travel history for girl - Thailand and Singapore
9. Both have recently got COPR for Canada but have not landed in Canada yet. Plan is to soft land in Canada. Visit USA and come back.

What are the chances?

Its little bit tricky now, By showing your Canada PR, you'll be showing that you have intention to stay in Canada & it might be treated as no ties to home country, & it is very risky for US B2 visa.

Is it wise to tell them that I plan to do a soft landing in Canada. Visit USA n meet sister. And come back?

Based on my experience, better you move to Canada first, stay there for some time & then apply for US visa.

The interview was as below:

Answer - I have COPR for Canada. I am planning to do a soft landing. Since I am going to Canada I would also like to go to US to meet my sister.

Answer - Given
