Visitor visa sponsorship to sister family

Hello Immihelp members,
I live in NJ on H1B, I want to invite my sister family (sister, her husband, 2 kids -age 14 & 7 each) to USA for 1 month in this summer vacation. All of them are tax payers in India, including kids.

Please advice which is best way for the documentation, should I mention that I will sponspor for their entire trip or I just send invitation letter and they will mention their trip expense is self?

some say if entire family applies for visistor visa, chance of getting visa is less! is that true? please let me know if any one has heard or came across similar situation.

If they can pay for trip expenses themselves, they should. If not, you can sponsor them.

No matter how many people apply, each applicant is looked at separately.
