B2 Visa documents (sponsors)

Hi Group

We are going to apply for Tourist visa (B2) for my in-laws.This is the second visit to US by my in-laws if they get their visa. We are going to send the documents to india.

My husband has a sister who is a citizen in US. Do i need to collect a letter/documents from her for the visa interview or is this optional .

Are there any chances of getting rejected ?
