  • US Tourist Visa

    Hi,

I want to apply US tourist visa to visit my boyfriend in Virginia. I will have the invitation letter from him saying that he's inviting me over for 2 weeks and during my stay I will stay at his home and he will guarantee that i will return at the end date of my travel date.I will also have my brother sending the embassy a letter saying that his sister which is me will be traveling to united states to visit a boyfriend and that i will return at the specified date. He will also send the embassy his three months bank account saying he will support all my expenses. I will also bring some money to united states around usd 1500-2000. I am unemployed but I do not have intention to work in the united states illegally. My purpose is purely to see my boyfriend in real life.

Is there any documents I should attach to the embassy so I will be granted the visa? Will my US visa be denied by any chance?

    Thank you,

You can attempt to bring documentation, but in all reality, officers don't want to see the documents you're talking about. The visitor visa doesn't require documentation as proof, they simply want to determine whether you're going to the US to visit or not. None of the documents (such as invitation letter or financial letters) are not enforceable and mean very little to them. So, focus more on getting your story straight and answering with confidence and conciseness. Good luck

Good luck. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't have to. Immigration is interesting. Not considered as legal advice.
