Tell me what to write in Explain option:

Q:Have you ever been refused a U.S visa, been refused to admission to the USA or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry?

I was refused earlier student visa.

I answered "yes" to this question. After that I get the option of "Explain" on DS 160.

Should I just write a refusal date which was stamped on the back of my passport? (e.g 4 july 2007)or Should I write refusal notes which were told to me in person by a previous Visa Officer. For e.g,He called me a non-serious student. I should have taken courses into my chosen field it was not a permanant refusal. come again next time ...blah blah blah

    Work/Education/Training Information

course of study: What should I mention here? computer science or what?

Previous visa officer mentioned these two main points.

      1. I didn't take courses into my chosen field. I should have taken them.

      2. My sponsor(my older brother) has immigrated from student visa. This thing doesn't go well in my favor.

These were the complete words of previous VO. In addition, he mentioned that it was not a permanent refusal come again next time with courses taken into my chosen field.

When mentioning minimum details, should I mention second point like my sponsor has immigrated from student visa? or first point should be enough as a minimum detail.

Please clear up this point for me.

Q:Have you ever been refused a U.S visa, been refused to admission to the USA or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry
          ?

If you say "yes" to this question, then "Explain."

Again i need help for answering this question.

If you have been refused more than one, do you need to explain refusal details for each refusal?

          or

Do we have to mention only refusal details for the last/latest refusal?

          One more question:

No one has bothered answering this in another thread.

My dad's interview has been scheduled in Islamabad embassy on June 18,2010 for family-based immigration. The National Visa Center has forwarded his case to the Islamabad embassy. His case no , mailing address, original docs and everything are now with the embassy.

Family information on Ds-form: I have to mention that my three brothers live in the USA.

          1. US-Citizen
          2. LPR.
          3. Working on HI visa.

After looking at my family information if VO officer asks, has my older brother applied for my dad's immigration? What should I answer to this question?

          Tell the truth or not.
