  • Re-applying for Parents' visa to the US: Mistake in DS 160

My parents got refused when they applied for Visa 7 years back under 214(b). We are reapplying this year and we have a date for interview in March. I just realized that in DS160, we accidentally mentioned that the visa got refused last time under 221(g) and this time we are providing substantial documents to show ties in India. Now I am worried about this typo. It should have said the following "the visa got refused last time under 214(b) and this time we are providing substantial documents to show ties in India" Should I be worried? Should I try to edit the application? Thanks

File a new DS160, Call local embassy & have the new DS160 associated with the appointment.

It is suggested to not "submit" the DS160 until 2 days before the interview.
