In-laws visa rejected Need help

My IN-laws went for their vistor visa on 16th Dec at Kolkata consulate and they did not get their visa , they were asked to go chennai consulate , as my mother-in-law cannot speak fluently in english. My brother-in-law also stays in US , i am worried that will my in-laws be rejected again because both their children (son and daughter) are in US . My father-in-law is retired he is 60 and my mother-in-law is 53 they have strong ties in India and have their mother to take care of .

my in-laws are going for their visa again in the First week of jan so i request someone to help

It is difficult to predict whether they would be rejected because all children in US. But never lie. Always tell truth that children are in US.
