Parents Visa rejection

Hi,
Please let me know what is the procedure if parents visa getting rejected.
1. like after how many days can they can re-apply.
2. what do they need to take care of for second interview.
3. Some one suggested that if parents has visited any other countries it might help. So i am also planning for their Singapore trip for a week.

Please let me know if you people have any suggestions. Also share me your experience.
