Scheduling a new appointment during covid-19??

I am from mumbai india..and all offices are closed atm due to lockdown at least till july 1...however I've paid my visa fees yesterday and could enter the reciept number and schedule a new appointment for oct 2020 today..
how many days-months can I wait to schedule a new appointment??
I know it can be rescheduled later but I don't want to waste a spot just incase..
