Visitor Visa to United States of America

Good Afternoon

My daughter (23 years old) is travelling to the USA (Chicago) to attend a wedding and short term holiday, 8 day total duration.. She is an Australia citizen and holds an Australia passport expiring 2017.
In reviewing the web site I understand if correct that Australia qualifies under the Visa Waiver programme that for short term visits a visa is not required. From this I believe that no action is then required in respect of visa's.

Can you please confirm this is correct or alternatively advise the requirements and where any forms are to complete presumably online?
