My mom's visitor visa was approved at Mumbai consulate on
Thursday June 10. This was a visa renewal.
On her last visit to the US, she had stayed for about 10 months
after applying for extension on I-94. At the interview, the VO
asked her why she applied for extension and whether she likes to stay
in US or India. She replied that she would like to stay in India but would
sometimes like to visit the US to see her son.
I guess the VO was satisfied with the answer and she got a 10 year
multiple entry visa.
