  • L1B TO B2 Change of Status

    Hi All,
Here is the situation, I am on a L1B visa which expires on nov 2020. I have my wife and daughter with me with L2 status. I want to stay for 2 more months and see if travel restrictions eases down to other countries.
I did some search and found that i can file for change of status. But the question is :
    1) Can I file online
    2) Do we have to file individually for wife and daughter as well.
    3) or paper based file
    Please guide.
    Regards

You can file I-539 online. If you file online then you will have to file individually. If you file by paper then you can have one main applicant with co-applicants, which is cheaper than filing individually, but if you file by paper you might not get the receipt for a long time.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
