Visitor Visa - 2nd Renewal

Hello All,

My Parents visited US on Nov 2019 and due to the Pandemic and Flight Cancellations there are stuck here. Visitor visa renewal is still in progress and not yet got an update from the USCIS. Is it possible for apply for another extension from them? Have any once came across this situation? I am confused with 1. Border is not yet open and flights are fully not yet available and 2. cases in India are increasing now.

Is it ok to apply for another extension with getting decisions for the 1st extension? Will it cause any issues for them in their next visit?

I'm also in the same situation. My Mom came here in Jan 2020. She got her I-94 for one year. I want to apply for extension of 6 months. Is that OK? Will it effect her future travel?
