Hello,
My parents on B1/B2 visitor visa have been visiting me in US. They were granted a 6 month stay on the I-94 (valid till sep 2010). Recently they went to Canada (on multi entry Canada visitor visa) and they had to surrender the I-94 card.
Upon their return to US, they were provided a new I-94 which has six month period (vaild till Jan 2011).
They were scheduled to return to India at Aug end initially, can they stay in US till Dec as their new I-94 has a validity till Jan, 2011.
I want to make sure that it's legal to stay till jan 2011, so that they don't have any issues visiting US in future.
Please provide any comparisons to their sitaution anybody might have.
