    Validity of B1 visa on new passport

    I have been stamped 10 year USA multiple visa on my passport which is valid upto 2018. My passport was valid upto Dec 2010. I have been reissued new passport in Aug2010 and old passport is cancelled.
    (1)Is the visa is valid with new passport automatically?
    (2)Is any validation is required from embassy?
    (3)Is visa is required to be stamped on new passport?
    Anybody who know this please clerify. Reply will be appreciated.

      Provided that the Indian Passport Office has not stamped CANCEL on your B1/B2 Visa Page! I am sure they didn't or did they?

        Indian passport office has no reason to mess with foreign visas and they never do.
