US Visitor VISA: Canadian PR

Hi, I am a canadian resident. I have been trying to apply for visa appointment since Jan 2020. Due to Covid, my visa appointments are being postponed since then. Now, when I was finally hoping to get my visa interview on Aug 24,2021 at Ottawa location, I received an email stating I should rescheduled it to some other date as there will be no interviews held on August 24. And, There is no date available until August 2022. I requested for an expedite visa because I had a university interview. My request was denied. What should I do. Please help

Hi,
When you request expedite visa, did you send email to consulate with supporting documents? Or you just booked through online and described your purpose of emergency request?

If you are a permanent resident of Canada you may need to obtain a non-immigrant visa in order to enter the US. You must get a visa from the American authorities before you enter the US. If you are a citizen of a country with a visa waiver agreement, you do not need a visa to enter the US.
