Dear,
I am applying to renew my US visa and my husband is doing the same. We are planning to travel together. We both have completed the D160 form. As I was done with completing my profile, I added my husband as a companion. Hence, I paid 38400 visa fee today which was for two applicants. I also received the interview waiver confirmation letter after submitting the receipt of MRV .
In the interview waiver confirmation letter, my husband name is listed as dependent. Anyways, my husband tried to applied too for an interview waiver by logging into the profile page but it said the record already existed in the database. So we are confused now. Will my interview waiver confirmation letter be sufficient for both of us since he is listed as a dependent applicant in my interview waiver confirmation letter or does he still need to apply for interview waiver confirmation letter independently? and if he has to apply independently, what should we do with the message '"the record already existed in our database" which keeps popping up as he tries to request for interview waiver?
