My mother who's a widow is attending her 3rd consulate interview. I've a few questions as to what she can/cannot say. Please advise as i'm desperate to bring her to US, due to my pregnancy.
1) My brother is in the US too. In the 1st interview, she said that n got rejected. In the 2nd, she was asked who she's living with and when she said alone, she again got rejected. So, this time we are telling her to say that she wants visa for only 3 months (doing which i heard increases chances of getting visa) as she has to perform her son's wedding upon return and that her old mother is dependent on her (true) & living with her (not true). Therfore, she needs to go back soon. So, this means she'd be saying that she's living with her son n mother. Is this ok? Will it work?
2) I'm pregnant. I know that she's not supposed to volunteer that information but if asked, what should she say?
3) We are sending her to an interview with an interpreter this time as opposed to the last two times. Will that help?
4) If she's asked 'Why should we give you a visa now'?, can she say 'because the spring/summer time is the best to visit my daughter n son-in-law's place and i also need to perform my son's wedding upon return'. This is a Q she was asked in her 2nd interview.
5) If she's asked 'What is different this time', what should she say?
6) I heard that by looking at the passport, they'd know if there's been any rejections earlier. So, should my mother take the earlier 214b rejection papers and act like she's come the 3rd time or should she not mention any rejection at all?
7) The 2 previous times she was not asked for any documents like property proof or affidavits which would prove her stong ties to India. Should she keep showing them, whether or not she's asked?
Please do answer these Q's as they'd help me a great deal.
Thanks in advance.
