Renewal of Tourist Visa

Hey guys,
Hope all of ya are doing well. A relative of mine decided to get a non-immigrant Visa ( B1/B2) about 2 and a half years ago and I believe in one or two months it expires. My question is if my relative can renew her visa and not get in trouble because she never came to the US not even once during this whole time that had the Visa. So my question is this:
Are there any possibilities that my relatives Visa application get rejected because he never came to the US?

Answer: Definitely no. The renewal will not be rejected due to not visiting. Please make sure, When you renew, you will need to have valid reason.

hey thank you for your reply. Another question. Can he travel right now from Eastern Europe with the travel ban rules that are in effect from the Trump administration ?
