Can we get translator on request for English Interview?

Since I am not able to get appointment for regional language at mumbai consuate for my parents. I was thinking of going for english option and request for translator at the time of interview. Is it possible? Will they provide the translator in that case or will have to face the interview in english?
Any suggestion/help on this is highly appreciated.
