Biometrics appointment for extension

Hello,

Please guide us in the next steps, for Extension of visitor B-2 VISA.


What's done:
- Landed in USA (B-2) in March 2020
- B-2 VISA extension was applied due to COVID restrictions
- Biometrics Fee paid
- Biometric Appointment completed in Aug 2020 (within 6 month duration)
- Reached India in March 2021 (within additional 6 month extension)


Issue:
- Received Form I-797C with notice date of 7/24/2021 notifying of unclear fingerprint
- Requests reschedule of Biometrics in Kansas but already in India

Have confusion on next steps:
- Revoke application with proof of exit letter to USCIS? OR

- Reschedule Biometrics appointment? OR
- Any other viable option?

Hi,
You can withdraw the petition if not require. Otherwise, If you want to give your biometrics, you can ask concern department to give your biometrics at consulate/embassy. But, I am sure this is not needed.

Thanks! We’ll do that and hope it updates his status. We were worried if he would face any issues the next time he comes to the US.

I don't see any issues.. So, There will not have any issues when she travels again to the USA. But, Please follow the procedure. Please try to withdraw the extension petition that you filed.
